That you live in interesting times alludes to a [presumably] Chinese curse referring to periods of uncertainty, crisis and turmoil. “Interesting times” are exactly like the ones we live in today. The work is interested in establishing an interconnection between architecture and propaganda in Cuba. A country in which the ruins of an old capitalist order are metaphorically magnified by the better future, promised in the omnipresent government campaigns.
